Traeger TFB29LZA Junior Elite Wood Pellet Grill and Smoker Black Friday Deals 2020
Hey welcome back anyway world shopping around the other day and decided to drop by Costco and inside Costco there was a road show you might ask well what kind of Rocha was that well Father’s Day was coming up and a lot of these suppliers and retailers are having different types of road shows and we decided to check it out
one of them was a road show for Trager norine and the kids decided to pick up a trigger junior elite 20 smoker BBQ Noreen went to get some meat for the smoker barbeque anyway as an added bonus along with the barbeque now I get a couple little freebies one of them was a tray your chicken rub and a free cover let’s check it out [Music] not too bad for a freebie this machine does more than just the barbecue let me fill you in Trager barbecues work on wood pellets hardware pellets we decided to pick up a couple bags and try it out you got apple and we got steeps awesome for beef Apple is going to be awesome for everything else it’s chicken you name it so let’s jump in and open up this bad boy and see what we got can’t wait to get this sucker going let’s take a look alright here we go get some ultra heavy-duty cardboard packaging I like that here’s the grill I believe it’s ceramic coated that should last pretty long and should help quite a bit with the nonstick surface all sealed got a cutter open I love their packaging they got stuff packed really well alright check it out this is the drip tray catches all the grease as its falling down and the barbecue comes down out here comes out side into a little bucket so we’ll take a look at that later but I believe this is heavy gauge stainless steel the welding is awesome heavy duty alright let’s get it out there we go here’s the main body trigger beautiful finish all-metal just put it together more heavy diesel targeting dress the feet I believe these are the front and I believe these ones through the back comes with the support for the wheels okay let’s take a look inside the barbecue Laura packaging removed before stalling I guess so we got lots of goodies inside we got lots of parts we got wheels we got a bucket for the grease we’ve got some handles going on the outside of the barbecue all right we got to believe this to the cover that goes over the burner take a look at that once it’s assembled got some oil coating on there which we have to burn off for 45 minutes I’ll get into that in a few minutes but great job on the welding super heavy-duty gauge steel this baby’s going to last for cardboard got instructions booklet how to manage and warranty items as well alright here we go so this is the main body that controls the mechanisms to burn the wood tell us electrical break your outlet we got the hopper this is where you put all your pellets inside feed all your pellets in there depending on the temperature that you want to set will determine how fast the augur boobs and pellets into the burner digital readout on this okay get some ah get some important instructions initial firing instructions okay now this is important there’s a certain methodology to get this thing going you got to burn off all the oils that are on the inside basically you got to start it up smoke it for a bit I think it’s five minutes and then you have to run it at high for 45 minutes burn it out break it in and then you’re ready to go so this is the main part inside of the BBQ as well as the outside pellet feeder what you do is you open this up you put all your pellets inside here you fill it up inside you’ll find a little auger that turns it takes all the pellets over to the burner now there’s an igniter and a burner in here turns red-hot gets the hard wood chips burning and smoking comes back up here it’s an induction oven as well there’s a fan blowing air through there it starts to circulate inside I’m going to post that in a minute so you can take a look at that and we’ll get this thing assembled and get it going stand by [Music] okay I’m really everything out we got to take a look at the parts so now we’re going to put it together for that I’m going to use Noreen to help me out hey Marian come here for a sec here we go hi everybody Hey start digging visa strikes again baby all right so miles look at the manual that’s if we cannot figure it out how fun all right Abby have you got a VIP card we got a cookbook you might want to check that out we’re going to go through some of these recipes and we’re going to show you how to tasty they are all right or manual okay it also comes with an owner’s manual I’m going to read up on that we got a full three-year warranty gotta love that and for both your if your function is a yellow paper lease we go one more we are here to help so if you can’t put it together you got problem with the machine call the 1-800 number and I’ll get it together for you oh wait we start let’s get everything out of the bags all right three you got to love this guys they even give you the tools to assemble the barbecue so it’s a one-stop shop awesome thank you okay it’s Father’s Day I love it this should be Father’s Day every day right this guy here is very spoiled all right I think everything about yeah so what who’s done all right all right guys what we just have to do is we’re going to get this together real quick we’re going to cut the video here and then once we get it back together then we’ll come back okay so stay tuned thank you alright so we’ve just assembled the hopper this unit here that has the auger inside put that through we have the burner right here tell it’s feed in from this direction you got the igniter down there the thermostat is right inside the unit right here the wires go through the inside come out here and attach within the joining clip to the other side they give you plenty of wire no cheating out here this is awesome alright let’s keep going next thing we’re doing is the filling handles handles handles come like that and a small nut and a lock washer on there see that tighten those up next one we’re going to install is on this side to the handle right over here for lifting it goes right inside there [Music] okay so the next thing that we have is the heat baffle heavy-duty gauge welded we’re going to be putting this over the growth frame assembly okay and inside of that is the fire-pot which is down in there so we’ll put this in here it’s quite simple you got to groove the plate business I the groove sits in there quite nicely not a problem and it just sits in there like that distributes the heat around the next thing we’re going to stall is the grease drain pan assembly heavy gauge stainless steel with a welded drain on the end which goes through the back of the barbecue [Music] [Music] there we go this is a grease drain assembly who grows up here everything drains down into there skittles down at an angle probably 10 20 degree pitch down low to this side here come around the dock get the drain right here that’s going to be coming out and it’s going to be draining on 2 & a 2 this little baby so you’ve got a hook right here to put that drain pan bucket on the end the grease comes out drips into there and then you get rid of it now we insert our porcelain cover grill just goes inside like such want to face that front to back so just as a note regarding the feet you got small rubber inserts that cover the front feet legs if you will front legs the back and go wheels no problem [Music] right guys so there you have it the Trager woodfired grill BBQ junior elite 20 model digitally controlled thermostat compact size perfect for urban living it’s going to be great filled by hard wood pellets let’s fire it up and check it out okay you guys now it’s time for the initial fire up kind of follow the instructions explicitly so what they recommend is that you take the grill and plate and the baffle cover out of the unit make sure there’s nothing inside of this we’re going to turn the power on to check to see if the auger is working okay so there we go we’re going to open the hopper which we’ve done I’m going to turn the power on all right I’m going to turn this to the smoke setting which it is [Music] okay I can see some smoke coming out of there already you want us to make sure that the fans work it which it is I can’t feel any heat yet I do not see the augur moving oh there it goes I see the auger vision look inside to the augurs moving ever so slowly okay Celeste Ernie Tan running back you smell it I can feel some heat coming out of there that’s good everything’s working with normal so
far [Music] okay just told the hopper with Tigers Apple hardwood tell it’s a little next step of the burnin process now we stuck the dial too high which is the next step in the burning process I’m going to feed the pellets into the burner once they’re in there we’re going to shut it down and go to the next step follow instructions divide you now have some pellets falling into the burner fighting now if you go to the next steps process now we step the dial to the shutdown cycle we had a couple seconds and then we set it to the smoke that area make sure this to start smoking okay we got a point now with the rest of the parts okay now we set the clock for 45 minutes so we let it turn on I will get all these pellets removal all the way down here and burn on the inside of this barbecue and what kind of challenge that we burn it up all so here we go we’re going to burn it in now standby we come back for 45 minutes take a look all right the temperature’s going up before 91 degrees right now trying to reach temperature 400 he would happen 398 yeah baby we got it 400 degrees alright guys let me reach for 50 making me happy I like that Linda Linda could be anything about 450 degrees anyway this is nice.
